Even after 17 years of being a florist I still never tire of these gorgeous plants. White phalaenopsis orchids are stunning, plain and simple. They command space and create elegant warmth in any room.  Watching them re-bloom is awesome.  We tend to keep things simple with our orchid planters, using cement planters with feminine curvy lines and natural deco keeping those beautiful orchids in the center of attention. 

Orchids are easier to keep than most people think.  Water every 2 weeks and watch for collecting water at the bottom of your planters and find the right lighting and temperature. Most homes are warm enough for orchids so finding the best light is key, try an east facing window for lots of daylight. South or west windows are great too if you have a sheer curtain defusing the light.
